Easter ...

Updated: Feb 21, 2020

Our living van for two is almost ready; the edge of the millpond has been cleared of thick undergrowth, new posts have been ordered to replace the ancient line of fallen fencing, trees planted and simple furniture and textures sourced from various Dorset bric-a-bracs (for me, that's been the fun part...naturally!). Blacksmith and restorater Eddie Butterfield has painstakingly built us a characterful piece that will nestle by our lively millpond (away from other guests enjoying the hut). All we need is for the ground to dry, the trees to unfurl their buds and winter to move on. Though looking out of the window right now, the rain continues to fall in large never-ending drops! With a comfy bed, lots of natural light and a wood burning stove we know that the van will be a charming and cosy space to enjoy. Maybe we'll see you at Easter?!
